Ladies, this workshop is for moms, daughters, sisters, aunts, girlfriends, and anyone who wants to learn the steps to empowering themselves! Activities will include, but not be limited to: core conditioning and practical technique development, role-playing to learn verbal skills and to develop spatial and personal boundaries, and discussions regarding awareness within the self-defense realm. In this session, we will also introduce meditation, for those who are interested.

Activities will include, but not be limited to:

• Discussions regarding awareness within the self-defense realm

Due to content of material covered in class, participants must be 16 years of age or older.

End of Summer Party is Postponed

Due to the forecasted weather for tonight (Friday, 8/31), we have postponed the End of Summer Karate party until next Saturday, Sept. 8th, same time (8-10 p.m.) and same location (Towson Merritt, outdoor pool).  Enjoy your holiday weekend!

 

End of Summer Party

The drawing for the Grand Prize – a Kindle HD tablet and custom PKA case – as well the other prizes, will be held at this event. YOU MUST BE PRESENT during the drawing to win!

Note: Merritt does not allow outside food/drinks at the pool. The snack shop will be open during the party.

Classes are offered from age 4 to adult.

Students will learn the basic techniques of the traditional Japanese style of martial arts, Seido Karate. They will work on practical self-defense, work on conditioning and endurance and learn drills and games that work on motor skill improvement.

Enjoy Fun Fridays at Towson and Super Saturdays at White Marsh, with activities like wood breaking, battle batons, candle punching, obstacle course and more!

Saturday, May 12th Class Change

Due to the tournament this Saturday, May 12th, we will combine the classes at White Marsh to a 10-11 a.m. time frame. So all students, all ages and all belt ranks can attend the 10-11 a.m. class but all other classes will be cancelled for this day.

Any questions, please let me know.

Hope that you will attend the tournament even if your student is not competing.

Spectator fees: $5/each or $10/family*

*All tournament proceeds will go towards a donation for hurricane relief for Puerto Rico.
