Fundamentals of appropriate movement in martial arts and particularly with the usage of weapons, including long blade, short blade and knives - Time permitting: Work on counters with single stick
History of Escrima:
Escrima, also known as Arnis or Kali, is a fighting style originally developed by the native people of the Philippine Islands. They used simple impact weapons (like the Escrima sticks) and edged weapons (swords, daggers, spears, etc) and other assorted weapons for combat and self-defense. These weapons were sometimes used as farm implements. Using these weapons, the Philippine natives were able to repel armored and musket bearing conquistadors in 1521.
