Kinder Kicks is a program developed for parents and children to exercise, learn and play with a martial arts flair. Children develop perseverance, self-control, courage and respect through fun fitness curriculum with their parents.

Ladies, this workshop is for moms, daughters, sisters, aunts, girlfriends, and anyone who wants to learn the steps to empowering themselves! Activities will include, but not be limited to: core conditioning and practical technique development, role-playing to learn verbal skills and to develop spatial and personal boundaries, and discussions regarding awareness within the self-defense realm. In this session, we will also introduce meditation, for those who are interested.

Due to the forecasted weather for tonight (Friday, 8/31), we have postponed the End of Summer Karate party until next Saturday, Sept. 8th, same time (8-10 p.m.) and same location (Towson Merritt, outdoor pool). Enjoy your holiday weekend!
Due to JS Karen’s charity century bike ride on Friday, August 3rd and the Seido beach training on Sunday, August 5th, there will be no 9:15 a.m. class at White Marsh on Saturday August 4th. If you normally attend that class, please join Kyoshi Eric at the 10 a.m. class instead. Osu!

Note: Merritt does not allow outside food/drinks at the pool. The snack shop will be open during the party.
There is a few slight changes to the classes at White Marsh this Saturday, 7/7.
There will be a combined basics class from 10 -11am with no early class and no sparring class. Immediately following basics class there will be kata until 11:30.
The dojo will be closed this Friday, 6/29 as Jun Shihan Karen will be in NYC training with Kaicho and Nidaime.
Also, the dojo will be closed on Weds. July 4th for Independence Day. Enjoy!

Students will learn the basic techniques of the traditional Japanese style of martial arts, Seido Karate. They will work on practical self-defense, work on conditioning and endurance and learn drills and games that work on motor skill improvement.
Enjoy Fun Fridays at Towson and Super Saturdays at White Marsh, with activities like wood breaking, battle batons, candle punching, obstacle course and more!
